CRM Titan (CRM 4) - Hitchhikers Guide

Now that the NDA has been relaxed we can now starting talking more about Titan (CRM 4).  There's so many good things that have been enhanced and changed since CRM 3 I couldn't decide where to start!

Last week I was up in Redmond on campus for trainer prep for the next round of training for ISVs on Titan and had some great discussions with other MVPs and the product team that participated.  Looks like I will mostly be doing US events this time around for CTP3, if you recall, I spent most of the summer traveling in Europe doing training for ISVs on CTP2.  I'm looking forward to helping more ISVs and keeping in touch with those of you who attended my classes.

Because of the NDA and most of what I have been doing has been NDA it's been hard to post as much - my plan is to pick up the pace a bit more and if there's something you'd like to hear about - post a comment or use the contact me link to make a suggestion.

Last week we all talked about what to post first, I said I wanted to do a Hitchhikers guide since I figured there would be a bunch of posts out there - Here's my list for now, I will also post another list as more stuff gets out there.

Michael Hohne's "A first preview of Microsoft CRM Titan" -  good overview of new stuff and a bunch of scren shots to go along - start here if your new...

Philip Richardson's "Add Multiple Users Screencast"  - a walk through of adding multiple users - If you have ever added a large number of users you will appreciate how simple it is now in Titan.

Darren Liu's "Showing Multiple Entity Data within a View" - Darren talks about the new feature in Titan that allows you to include related entity data in a view  - remember in CRM 3 we could only include data from a single entity - you couldn't pull from the related.

MS Press Release - "Microsoft Charts its Software Services Strategy" - press release talking about more evolution in the Software + Services strategy - this is beyond just talking about CRM also talks about some of the BizTalk services (which need a new name) and other parts of the Live and "Online" strategy.
